Project Overview
Journeyman Marketing partnered with MD Steele Construction and Able Crane Services to document a major bridge build in Melita, Manitoba. With girders scheduled to fly at sunrise, our crew was on the road by 4:00 AM to make sure we didn’t miss a moment. This all-hands-on-deck production included drone coverage, interview setups, and dual-brand storytelling for both clients—all captured in a single high-impact site visit.

Why It Stood Out
There’s something incredible about watching massive steel girders lift into the air and land within inches of where engineers intended. This project was a perfect blend of brute force and surgical precision, with Able Crane’s operators and MD Steele’s site crew working in lockstep. The energy on site was gritty, professional, and intense—a real-time display of craftsmanship at scale. We also filmed a sit-down interview with the project superintendent, adding valuable context and narrative depth to the final piece.
How We Helped
By producing tailored content for two companies on one job site, we maximized efficiency and value while maintaining each brand’s voice. For MD Steele, the focus was on engineering excellence and project execution. For Able Crane, we highlighted the technical skill and trust required to place girders with exact precision. This project reinforced what we love most about construction storytelling: raw footage, real teamwork, and zero fluff.
