Project Overview
Able Crane Services partnered with Toba Centre for Children & Youth to bring a powerful public art installation to life: Bison on the Boulevard. Our team captured the precision and care of crane operators as they carefully positioned hand-painted concrete bison... each one a symbol of strength, solidarity, and hope, along Winnipeg’s Roblin Boulevard.
Executed as part of the Toba Centre capital campaign to raise awareness of child advocacy, the project assembled a visually striking herd, designed to spark conversation and signify community support for vulnerable youth.

Why the Bison?
Bison embody strength, protection, and unity... natural symbols that align deeply with Toba Centre’s mission to support children healing from trauma. Standing together, the herd illustrates community resilience: just as bison protect their young, we stand with those affected by abuse.
Why It Matters
This wasn't just a crane job... it was lifting community spirit. Through visual storytelling, the bison project reinforced Toba Centre’s message: no child should face trauma alone. Working together, we turned heavy lifting into a powerful symbol of hope.
